Midway made this game famous in the arcades.
Then Acclaim took the ball and ran with it
on the consoles. Now Electronic Arts is rocking
the rim and bringing the Boomshakalaka we all
came to love back to life on the Xbox 360 and
PlayStation 3.
Electronic Arts EA Canada NBA Live team is
hoping to go back in time and create the same
energy that Acclaim and Midway were able to
capture in previous versions of NBA Jam.
The game will have the same three-on-three
action and the same camera presentation. To
ensure that the game has the same superhuman
dunks and the same fiery power-ups EA has hired
the co-creator of the original JAM games Mark
Turmell as a consultant on the project.
