Microsoft is hoping to “Kinect” with
Gamers
LOS Angeles: Microsoft kicked off E3 week here
in Los Angeles with style, grace and imagination.
Their Project Natal event saw the renaming of
the device to “Kinect”.
The event had a distinctly Canadian flavor as
Cirque du Soleil delivered a stunning performance
that saw art merge with controller free gaming.
The 45-minute performance took place in the Galen
Theater on the USC campus here in Los Angeles.
Microsoft is hoping that gamers see the forest
through the trees in what should be an incredible
gaming experience when “Kinect for Xbox
360” is released this fall.
Price will play a big factor and although nothing
was announced, some are suggesting that the device
will be in the $149 to $199 range.
On the plus side Microsoft is hoping that controller
free gaming will prolong the life of the Xbox
360.
