Activision
has declassified the release date and official
name of its next iteration of its $1 billion
Call of Duty franchise.
The follow-up to the biggest entertainment
launch in the history of the video game business
will take place on November 9th with the release
of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Treyarch is in the trenches get the game ready
for release.
Infinity Ward the creator
of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in tatters.
All of the
principles of the company left and are either
suing Activision or have joined a new start-up
company entitled “ReSpawn” and
is being funded by EA Partners, a subsidiary
of Electronic Arts.

Vince Zampella and Jason West’s Electronic
Arts (EA); back in 2002 they split from EA
after brouhaha
over creative issues concerning the Medal
of Honor franchise.
